This is a prototype for Rub-a Pic, a product that would help enjoy pictures in a physical experience. This is a scenario for use, if my product came to existence. In the process of creating the idea, I looked at Daniel Rozin and the E-paper Hack on Boing Boing for general reference.
A blank template that consists of a frame and a sheet made of special material
An LCD computer screen displaying a digital photograph
Place the template over the disiplay
Start rubbing the surface of the template
The image on the screen will start to appear on the sheet
Remove the template from the screen, and the image stays
Remove the sheet from the template frame
Hang your new picture, and enjoy!
